Even though I am completely handicapped when it comes to the actual making of music, I have always maintained a strong interest in it for as long as I can remember. My grandfather was a jazz pianist and my dad was a session musician and DJ in London back in the seventies so I’ve been surrounded it pretty much all my life and it was pretty much inevitable that I would have a passion for it.

It’s always been mentioned that music has an immediate emotional resonance to the listener, something that can’t be replicated by any other artistic medium. Music for me is not only an escape but a much needed tool to experience and get through life’s various ups and downs. There’s nothing like the feeling of hearing a song or album you love for the very first time.

I’ve always wanted to write about music and Frequency 21 is a good place to start as the writers on this site seem to have a genuine passion for music; no matter how big or small the artist.
