Chromeo Returns To Keep The Funk Alive on ‘Juice’

Written by Samee Anibaba

Chromeo have been silent in the past few years since the release of their last album White Women in 2014. But now they’ve announced their return and have dropped a new funky single with Juice.

The two piece play to their strengths with the bright and synthetic tune, crafting an earworm melody and a funky bass line that brings you some Daft Punk vibes but with their own independent throwback style.

P-Thugg brings a wavy dance influenced beat and some throwback G-Funk vocals on the chorus, perfect for Dave 1 to take the lead and sing a catchy hook for a girl who’s got the Juice.

This single will kick off the campaign for their 5th album, Head Over Heels. The album doesn’t have a release date but you can expect it soon; till then you can listen to Juice on Apple Music, Spotify and all streaming services, and watch the fun David Wilson directed video below.
