Chase & Status Release Fourth Studio Album ‘Tribe’

Written by Rahoul Naik

Chase & Status are undeniably the biggest D’n’B producers in the UK, if not the world, and their large catalogue of music dating back almost 10 years proves why they are the best in the game.

Today, the released their fourth studio album, Tribe, and it has one of the most expansive features list from the likes of Kano and Bugzy Malone to Emeli Sandé and Mr Vegas. The features list is simply a teaser and an introduction into the tasteful work that transcends the album.

Speaking to Metro earlier in the year, Will described this album as a “foundation” that “really sums up what we’ve done over the last three years.” It is fair to say that this can be heard through the varying features and styles that feature on the album.

The Guardian were quick to dismiss this album as one where Chase & Status couldn’t agree on what they wanted to do between ‘radio and the club’, however, one of the masterful things about this duo is that they have been able to conquer the radio and club together for the last ten years and this album will be no different.

The album is going to do wonders for both Chase & Status and also the features they have on the album including Section Boyz and Blossoms.
