Bicep’s New Release ‘Glue’ Nods Its Head At UK Rave Culture

Written by Jack Andrew Cribb

Originally known for unearthing eclectic musical rarities, the London-based duo of Andy Ferguson and Matt McBriar, aka Bicep, are tearing up electronic scenes with their own take on a house music renaissance, and they have just released a new track, Glue. This release comes as the second single from their upcoming album, Bicep, which is set to be released September 1st via Ninja Tune.

The track, with its use of a breakbeat that is defiantly ascetic, acts as an homage to the music of the early UK rave scene. It’s a little sombre, a little ethereal, but definitely quite enchanting. The track follows up their earlier release, Aura, a more upbeat, euphoric sound.

Bicep are currently on a European tour, which you can find more info on here
