5 piece, Southend bred band, Nothing But Thieves have returned to the ever expanding scene with a new single, Sorry, two years after the release of their self-titled debut album back in 2015.
The new track was written by Joe Langridge Brown, the band’s guitarist, and is a beautifully crafted symphony of bass guitar, strong drum beats and the band’s distinctive vocals.
Speaking about the song, Brown states “Sorry is about getting older and the difficulties associated with it. It’s about looking inwards and facing your demons. The song hinges around a flawed individual who can’t hold down a relationship, both to the detriment of themselves and their partner.” Something we can all relate to in some capacity.
The track has already gained a lot of traction with Annie Mac naming it her Hottest Record on her flagship Radio 1 show and also getting spins from various radio around the UK and further afar.
The band are due to release their new album, Broken Machine, just after the summer months and will also look to tour around the UK in November; hitting Newcastle, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Bristol and many more.
