Jay Prince Links Up With Shakka For New Single ‘Mandem’

Written by Rahoul Naik

It’s another London link-up for Jay Prince’s latest single, Mandem, as he recruits the swag-filled R&B vocals of Shakka.

Mandem is the latest single off Prince’s upcoming Late Summers project which is due to drop in the next few days.

The young rapper and producer, who’s sound has been described as “honeyed hip-hop, recalling the dawn of US sunshine rap”, bares all on previous work such as Smile Good (2016), showcasing he’s an artist with both style and substance. Fusing silky smooth raps that touch on life experiences and opinions on social/cultural issues, with the funky, feel good production for which he has become known.

Having toured all over Europe and North America and worked with a bunch of bigs names like Avelino, HeR, Allan Kingdom and more, we’re expecting some well deserved summery Hip-Hop on his latest project.

Shakka’s inclusion is another shoutout to UK music in 2017 and the talent that we posses, hopefully the singer’s inclusion will open up his bangers like Rollin’ to a new and wider audience.

Whilst we wait on the upcoming project, listen to Mandem below.
