The biggest pop star of this era, Justin Bieber, will be headlining summer’s hottest festival at the Barclay presents British Summer Time at Hyde Park on 2nd July. Now, even more big names will perform at this show.
The first announcement of acts includes EDM producer Martin Garrix, mega pop artist Tove Lo and Brit Award-nominated rising star Anne-Marie. Joining them are Mabel, Naughty Boy, Jain, Nina Nesbitt, Sheppard, Will Heard, James Hersey, Louis The Child, Anna of the North, Skinny Living, Dagny and Glowie.
For many, having this opportunity to perform at one of the biggest entertainment events alongside Justin Bieber is a huge milestone for up-and-coming artists. However, for rising London R&B songstress Mabel, this is especially uplifting to see.
Mabel is the daughter of famous 90s singer Neneh Cherry, the pioneer of early R’n’B, and Massive Attack producer Cameron McVey. As a result, some may not credit Mabel’s hustle as solely down to her own talents and attributes. So, the grind is in some ways different, because perhaps she feels the need to prove herself to some. 2017 marks as big stepping stone, having released well received singles and securing her spot at the BST.
Be ready for a day jam packed to the brim of talented artists at Hyde Park with Justin Bieber and friends on 2 July.
