Trans-Atlantic trio Swet Shop Boys dropped their Sufi La EP on Record Store Day (22nd April) for those lucky fans who were able to line-up and purchase the beautiful looking things.
For those of us who are not hipster (or old) enough for a record player, we will have to wait until the 20th May for Sufi La to hit our favourite digital outlets and streaming services like iTunes, Spotify and Apple Music.
On the brighter side of things, we have been given a glimpse into the upcoming EP with it’s lead single, That My Girl. The new single is a little more playful than the majority of the trio’s Cashmere album, yet it still hits hard with Riz and Seems exchanging flows throughout. Redinho also returns with a very South Asian influenced beat boasting a bunch of instruments that fit so perfectly together.
Riz, Heems and Redinho have been touring recently with selling out dates in New York and London as well as killing their set at Coachella with the sky being the limit for these three talented artists.
Whilst we wait for the full Sufi La project to drop, have a listen to Thas My Girl below and get ready for another storm of the Swet Shop Boys.
