Lonely The Brave Are Ready To Rock 2017

Written by Dorica Santos

2016 was a great year for Lonely The Brave as they had a successful European Tour in support of Biffy Clyro, a sell out headline tour and a no.1 album on the rock charts. Their prolific streak continues as songwriters, by announcing a brand new EP, led by an album highlight, Diamond Days.

The EP will be available from March 17th through Hassle Records, and will feature two other non-album tracks including melodic Collider and a cover of The Walkman’s ionic The Rat. For a band that is known for picking unexpected covers – Bjork, Pink Floyd and Antony & The Johnsons – The Rat is a leftfield take on an already wonderful song, that will embrace David Juke’s peerless vocals and hopefully introduce the song to a new audience, me included.

But wait, there’s more….

Alongside their new EP, Lonely The Brave will be supporting British alt-rockers, Mallory Knox on their UK tour, spanning March and April 2017. Their old friends and tour partners, the Glasgow three-piece, Fatherson, will also be joining them on the line-up. The tour will feature dates in Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, Bristol and their hometown Cambridge. Tickets are available to purchase now, so you best get going.
